Inspired by an exhibition of Japanese woodblocks and the intricate works of Cressida Campbell and Margaret Preston, I turned to a piece of found timber. Using a Dremel, I carved an impression of a wilted cutting from my own garden, then hand printed and embellished with pencil. This was one of my first woodcuts which then led into the current exploration of Mokulito to Woodcut.
